About This Product
Thymosin Alpha-1 (Tα1) is one of the most studied peptides in all of immunology — a 28-amino-acid fragment of the larger precursor protein prothymosin alpha, released by the thymus to help train and balance the immune system. It was isolated from thymic tissue in 1977, the first thymic peptide ever synthesised, and later developed as a clinical therapeutic in over 30 countries under the name thymalfasin.
What sets it apart in research is its character: it’s an immune modulator, not a stimulant — studied for how it recalibrates T-cell maturation and Th1/Th2 balance through Toll-like-receptor signalling. Supplied as a lyophilised research compound.
