Products & Quality

The purity of each batch is whatever its certificate records, and we publish that certificate rather than quoting a number for the range. We verify every compound we sell through our own independent third-party testing (Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry) — we don’t list a compound for sale until that testing is complete. Anything still in verification is shown as awaiting its certificate rather than offered for sale, and each completed Certificate of Analysis is published on the product page and in our batch-verification gallery.

Our peptides are sourced from two established manufacturers with whom we maintain an ongoing partnership, with on-site facility visits scheduled through 2026. We don’t name them publicly — but the testing behind them is fully in the open. Each batch arrives with manufacturer testing at source.

On top of that, every compound we list for sale is verified by our own independent third-party testing through a leading US-based analytical laboratory, using Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry — we don’t put it on sale until that’s complete. We publish each Certificate of Analysis as it’s finished; a compound still in verification is shown as awaiting its certificate rather than offered for sale.

Where a COA has been completed for a product’s batch, it’s shown on that product’s page and in our batch-verification gallery at /coas. Not every batch has an independent COA yet — our testing programme is ongoing — so if you’d like the current documentation for a specific product before purchasing, email info@southernpacificlabs.com.au or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll send what we have.

Every batch is recorded against a unique batch number. Email info@southernpacificlabs.com.au or message us on WhatsApp with the batch number, product name, and the date you received your COA, and we’ll confirm it against our records. For the full walkthrough — what a genuine COA contains, how to read the data, and how to spot a counterfeit — see our guide: How to read & verify your COA →

In lyophilised (powder) form, peptides are highly stable. Kept sealed, dry and out of light, they stay good for months at room temperature (independent third-party testing shows only ~2–3% loss; especially stable peptides up to ~1 year), 1–2+ years refrigerated (2–8 °C), and several years — a decade or more — frozen (−20 °C). Once mixed with bacteriostatic water, keep it refrigerated and out of light and use within 28–30 days; never freeze a mixed vial. For the full breakdown see our guide: How Long Do Peptides Last → Per-peptide details are on each product page.

All peptides arrive as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials with flip-top aluminium caps. Lyophilisation is the industry standard for peptide stability — it removes moisture to prevent degradation during storage and transport.

Yes — we stock bacteriostatic water in 10mL and 3mL vials as part of our Accessories range. You’ll find it in the shop alongside our research peptides. We carry it because researchers commonly request it as a companion product, and we’d rather customers source everything from one supplier with consistent quality standards than chase it elsewhere.

Not at this stage. We focus on single-compound peptides so researchers can work with verified, individually tested materials. We do offer Research Collections — curated combinations of individual peptides at a bundled price — so you can build your own research protocols with known, single-compound products.

Ordering & Payment

We accept all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, bank transfer (bank deposit) and PayID. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and we don’t store your card details.

Yes. Choose bank transfer at checkout and we’ll email our PayID and account details with a payment reference. PayID payments usually clear within minutes; standard bank transfers take a day or two depending on your bank. Because the money needs to reach our account before we send anything, we dispatch within 1 business day of your payment clearing — not of you sending it. Either way, we’ll email you as soon as your order has been dispatched.

No — checkout is guest-based, so you can order without creating an account.

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, contact us immediately at info@southernpacificlabs.com.au and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — but our refund and returns policy still applies.

Yes. You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, and a second email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Research Collections are curated combinations of individual peptides sold together at a bundled price. Each contains separate, individually labelled vials — not blended products. You get the convenience of a pre-selected combination with the transparency of single-compound, individually tested peptides. Options and pricing are listed on each Collection’s page.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are dispatched from Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Two parts: dispatch, then transit. We dispatch within 1 business day of your payment clearing — in practice that day or the next. Australia Post then takes 1–3 business days for Express and 2–6 business days for Standard, and longer to regional and rural addresses. Your total wait is dispatch plus transit. Australia Post starts counting on the business day after we lodge the parcel, and weekends and public holidays are not business days. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy at /shipping.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method. Free shipping is available on orders over a qualifying threshold — see checkout for current details.

Yes. All orders are shipped in plain, unmarked packaging with no external branding, product names, or descriptions visible on the outside. The sender name on the label is “Southern Pacific Labs” — there is no reference to the contents of the package.

Our wordmark is Southernpacific.Labs — the orange square is our brand mark, not a full stop. Vials and cartons printed before August 2026 carry the earlier Southern.Labs version of it, and we’re running that stock out rather than throwing it away. Same company, same product, same batch numbers: Southern Pacific Labs is a business name of Southern Labs AU Pty Ltd (ABN 47 696 872 698). The batch code on your vial will match its Certificate of Analysis either way.

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email, which you can use to track your shipment on the carrier’s website.

Contact us as soon as possible at info@southernpacificlabs.com.au. If the order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we can update the address. Once dispatched, we’re unable to redirect the shipment — you’ll need to contact the carrier directly. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If your domestic order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, or your tracking has shown no movement for 5 business days, contact us with your order number and we’ll investigate. If the parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund in accordance with our refund policy.

Storage & Handling

Before you mix it, the freeze-dried powder is forgiving, so you have a choice. If you’ll use it soon, a cool, dark, dry spot out of direct sunlight — a cupboard or drawer — is perfectly fine. If you’d rather keep it longer, or you’re not using it right away, put it in the fridge (2–8 °C), or the freezer (−20 °C) for the long term. Either way, keep the vial sealed and away from light and moisture. Once you’ve mixed it with bacteriostatic water, treat it more carefully: keep it in the fridge, out of the light, and use it within 28–30 days. Never freeze a peptide once it’s been mixed, and don’t leave a mixed vial in a hot car. For the full breakdown see our guide: How Long Do Peptides Last → For exact storage times, check the product page; for how peptides cope in transit, see Stability & Shipping Temperature below.

We don’t provide guidance on combining compounds. Each peptide is supplied individually in its own sealed vial to ensure purity and integrity. If you have questions about compatibility for your specific research application, we recommend consulting published literature or a qualified researcher in your field.

06

Stability & Shipping Temperature

No. Your peptides are sent as a freeze-dried powder, and in that dry, sealed form they don’t need to be kept cold on the way to you. Freeze-drying takes the water out — and water is what makes peptides break down — so a few days in normal post, with the usual temperature ups and downs in trucks, planes and warehouses, won’t harm good-quality powder. That said, we still pack every order carefully and protect it in transit; ice packs are simply an extra guard against long spells of extreme heat, not something the powder depends on to arrive in good shape. Shipping as a stable freeze-dried powder is exactly what lets us get it to you reliably.

Almost certainly, yes — as long as it’s the freeze-dried powder and it wasn’t left sitting in extreme heat or direct sun. Dry powder easily handles the ordinary warmth and delays of normal post; a day or two of transit isn’t long enough to matter. What actually degrades a peptide is different: poor quality at the source, contamination, or prolonged heat and light over weeks and months — not a single warm delivery. If your parcel had a genuinely rough trip, or you’re worried at all, email info@southernpacificlabs.com.au with your order number and we’ll help.

Better than most people online think. Independent labs that test large numbers of research samples find that good freeze-dried powder lasts far longer than the cautious dates printed on labels. As a rough guide for dry, sealed powder: months at room temperature, years in the fridge (2–8 °C), and a decade or more in the freezer (−20 °C). The fridge and freezer are about making it last long-term — they’re not what keep it safe during a short trip in the post. The main thing to avoid is warming and cooling it again and again.

Bigger proteins have a reputation for being fragile, but as a freeze-dried powder they still cope well with normal shipping and storage. The data shows they’re fine at room temperature for weeks, and powder that has sat out of the fridge for long stretches has tested with only a slight drop. The extra care they’re known for really applies once they’ve been mixed — not to the sealed, dry vial.

Yes — keep it in the fridge, out of light, and use it within 28–30 days. Don’t freeze a peptide once it’s been mixed.

Quality — how well the peptide was made and freeze-dried — matters far more than whether every mile of the trip was kept cold. Material that was made properly, with honest third-party testing behind it, handles normal shipping just fine. That’s the whole point of our own independent COA programme: you can check exactly what you received instead of guessing about the journey. See our batch-verification gallery at /coas.

07

Refunds & Returns

Not for change of mind, and we don’t offer exchanges. Once a parcel has left us we have no record of how it was stored, so we can’t warrant it to anyone else and won’t resell it — and a rule about the condition a vial came back in would rest on something we have no way to check. What we do cover is a refund or a replacement if your order arrives damaged, never arrives, the wrong product was sent, or the product isn’t as described. Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law: for a major failure the choice between a refund and a replacement is yours. Full detail is in our Refund Policy at /refund.

Contact us immediately at info@southernpacificlabs.com.au with your order number and photos of the damage or incorrect items. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. We take packaging and dispatch seriously — but if something goes wrong, we’ll make it right.

Tell us if your order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, or your tracking has shown no movement for 5 business days, and we’ll lodge an enquiry with Australia Post. If the parcel is confirmed lost, you choose: a full refund, or a replacement at no cost. See our full Refund Policy and Shipping Policy for details.
