About This Product
Melanotan II (MT-II) is a synthetic analog of α-MSH, the hormone that signals skin cells to produce pigment. It’s a melanocortin-receptor agonist — best known in research as the compound that stimulates melanogenesis, the skin’s own pigment machinery, and studied more broadly across the melanocortin system.
A cyclic, lab-made peptide first developed in the 1980s. Supplied as a lyophilised research compound. The full mechanism and safety picture are covered in the research guide.
